I am originally from Colombia. Graduated from the PTA program at LaGuardia College and worked in New York for two years at a rehab center in Long Island, moved to Germany where I continue my studies in Physical Therapy at Phytheras in Bad Krozingen, after graduating the PT program there, I worked at Kreiskrankenhaus in Loerrac a physiotherapy practice located in the hospital, treating numerous health conditions like postsurgical, orthopedic and neurological ailments for both in-patients and outpatients, adults and children. I was the head Physical Therapist in the hospital’s Children department for three years, treating children with all health conditions from the intensive care unit to the two floors in-patient children’s unit. After working in Germany for seven years, I came back to the USA and started working at an orthopedic office and decided to pursue my education. I graduated from FAU in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Arts majoring in Linguistics with a minor in German. I speak Spanish, English and German.
In the interest of assisting my patients get better, I have concentrated my time and effort in learning new treatment techniques; I have a Master Certification in Manual therapy, a Certification in Gaston techniques, a Certification in Kinesio Taping and Personal Trainer certification.
I love working with people and it gives me great pleasure to be able to give them pain relief and assist in them regaining their health and ability to enjoy life
